Ingredients:

  • 1 kilo ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 large potatoes, frozen and finely chopped
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat and prepare: Bake at 190°C and Grease a 9×13 baking dish with about an inch of oil.
  2. Mix meat: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shaping and Preparation: Put the mixture in a baking dish and make a loaf in the middle. Arrange the baked potatoes around the lightly stuffed bread. Add plenty of salt.
  4. Covered baking: Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
