Crockpot Cheese Tortellini and Sausage
Ingredients
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 bag (19 oz) frozen cheese tortellini
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1: Brown the Sausage
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks.
- Once cooked, drain any excess grease.
Step 2: Combine Ingredients in the Crockpot
- In a crockpot, combine the cooked sausage, frozen tortellini, marinara sauce, and chicken broth.
- Stir well to mix everything together.
Step 3: Slow Cook to Perfection
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
Step 4: Add the Cheese
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the top.
- Cover and allow the cheese to melt.
Step 5: Final Seasoning and Serve
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
- Serve warm and enjoy!

- For a creamier sauce, add 1/2 cup of heavy cream in the last 30 minutes.
